Harry Potter author JK Rowling has joined the ranks of the world's ultra-rich.
She is now estimated to be worth an astonishing £526m and has made her debut on Forbes magazine's billionaires list at number 552.
Book sales, the money grossed from the two Harry Potter movies and toy sales has seen Rowling amass more than US$1bn.
Entertainment Rewired has published a review on a rough cut of the third Harry Potter movie. They stress that there's no way they can be sure it's accurate, but it's posted there for us to peruse. It sounds great, but I'm witholding opinion on it.

The world's favourite wizard Harry Potter has been banished from the shelves of a Teesside school library because of fears of satanic undertones.
Sources close to The King's Academy in Coulby Newham confirmed today that staff at the £20m super school felt the celebrated books by author J K Rowling should not be stocked.
The Gazette understands that headteacher Nigel McQuoid took the decision after discussions involving librarians and teaching staff before the school opened in September.

Mary Grand Pré, the artist behind the hugely successful Harry Potter book series in America, has signed on to be a part of the Norman Rockwell Museum's upcoming exhibition, "Women in Illustration: Contemporary Visions and Voices (http://www.nrm.org/exhibits/women/)," opening March 6, 2004.
The exhibition, which will feature over seventy groundbreaking works by today's foremost women illustrators, will include selections from Grand Pré's illustrations for Harry Potter and other children's books.

The first test screening of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban took place in America last weekend.
Studio insiders at Warner Brothers confirmed to Newsround Online that the preview took place on 23 February.
The movie's director, Alfonso Cuaron, was in the audience at the Chicago cinema to see how fans reacted.

For the second year running World Book Day, the UK's biggest celebration of reading, will be hosting an Online Festival for readers of all ages. Log on to World Book Day Festival.com at 10.00am on World Book Day, Thursday March 4th, for a packed schedule of web chats and films with a fantastic line-up of world-class authors and a readers' discussion forum.
The World Book Day Online Festival will be launched by JK Rowling with an interactive web-chat between 10.00 and 11.00am. This will include 12 special questions from winners of a national schools' competition. The Harry Potter author will be giving children a rare chance to talk to her about her influences, reading and books. JK Rowling says of her involvement:
"For me, being online is one of the best ways to get to Harry Potter fans; it's immediate, spontaneous and fun. So I'm thrilled to be taking part in the World Book Day Online Festival where I can talk to readers from around the world."
