JK Rowling to Read from Deathly Hallows

J.K. Rowling will be reading from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows at the release of the novel midnight July 21 at the Natural History Museum in London. There will be a subsequent signing of the book which is expected to last until dawn.

1,700 tickets to the event will be available by prize draw which will run from 23rd May to 11th June. There will be no charge for the event. Winners will be notified by 18th June. Of the 1,700 tickets available, the first 500 randomly selected winners will attend the midnight reading. The remaining 1,200 winners will be able to queue for the book signing. Every ticket holder will receive a free book from Bloomsbury Publishing.

"It has been a long time since I've done a signing and had the chance to speak to readers individually, so I'm delighted that we are launching the book in this way. It will be wonderful for me to get the chance to speak to people who have already read a few chapters while in the queue!
