For two years, GoF has held the record for the most expensive movie ever made. The original budget for GoF was $308 Million and has since been reduced to $305 Million. It seems though that Superman Returns (due out in 2006) will be swooping in with an estimated budget of $326 Million.
There are still three more HP movies, of course. So there's always a chance for Harry to steal the title back again.
