J.K. Rowling has added some updates to her website! The biggest piece of news is in regards to the Harry Potter Children's Press Conference Weekend on July 16th and 17th at Edinburgh Castle in Scotland. Seventy aspiring young reporters, ages 8 to 16, will be attending as spokespersons for numerous English-language newspapers around the world.
On the stroke of midnight on Saturday 16th, JKR will be giving the very first reading from the HBP. The reporters will then have the weekend to read the book in a specially created 'Reading Room' at the castle, before attending the Press Conference on Sunday 17th July for questions and answers with JKR.
Melissa of 'The Leaky Cauldron' and Emerson from 'Mugglenet' will both get exclusive interviews with JKR at her home in Edinburgh that weekend as well.
There are a number of other updates in the FAQ section including information about Snape and the Veritaserum potion, but the Poll Question remains unanswered.
