Numerous Potter news sites have received official confirmation from Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble regarding the length of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the 6th novel in the Harry Potter series due out on July 16th this year. At 672 pages, the US Scholastic publication will be 198 pages shorter than Order of the Phoenix and 62 pages shorter than Goblet of Fire. Those expecting something longer than OotP will have to make do I suppose.
