Books 6 & 7 - Two Halves of the Same Novel

(Source: Mugglenet.com) JKR recently responded to a birthday fan file which was put together by Wizard City. Here is her letter in response:

"Thank you very much for your letters. I am currently working hard on the sixth Harry Potter book and enjoying the writing more than ever; Hopefully this means that it will be enjoyable to read! I am however increasingly conscious that I am nearing the end of the series. The last two books seem almost like two halves of the same novel, because so much that happens in six is related to what happens at the very end of the story. Thank you again for writing. It means the world to me that Harry's fans take the time and trouble to let me know how much they like him.

Does anyone else think we might have a cliff hanger in store for us at the end of Book 6?

Yep, looks like we'll be left hanging at the end of book six. I might chew my pillows to shreds when that happens!

Yeah there will probely be a cliff hanger. I think that the end of Book 7 Dumbldoore will be killed by Voledamort and Harry will kill him. Hermionie will end up with Ron and Harry with Ginny. Hermionie will kill that witch who killed Sirius. I heard that they will be a new Minister i think it will be Dumbledoor or Malfoy? and something big will be found out about Lilly i think its got something to do with the book called The Half Blood Prince and i think the Prince is Harry.

i think that ron will be killed in the 7th book because in the chess game(in book 1) a lot of these things are simbolic. Ron will end up with hermione and rons gonna die leavnig hermione devistated. Dumbledoor is too powerfull to die but i have my second thoughts about ron dieing.

A friend of mine insists that actually Neville is going to be the one who kills Voldemort...

I think Neville is going to be the half blood prince, because the profecy was that either neville of harry would destory voldemort.
