For the second year running World Book Day, the UK's biggest celebration of reading, will be hosting an Online Festival for readers of all ages. Log on to World Book Day Festival.com at 10.00am on World Book Day, Thursday March 4th, for a packed schedule of web chats and films with a fantastic line-up of world-class authors and a readers' discussion forum.

The World Book Day Online Festival will be launched by JK Rowling with an interactive web-chat between 10.00 and 11.00am. This will include 12 special questions from winners of a national schools' competition. The Harry Potter author will be giving children a rare chance to talk to her about her influences, reading and books. JK Rowling says of her involvement:

"For me, being online is one of the best ways to get to Harry Potter fans; it's immediate, spontaneous and fun. So I'm thrilled to be taking part in the World Book Day Online Festival where I can talk to readers from around the world."
