I am sure that if the visit materializes, then it is going to be a very big event for millions of harry Potter fans in India.
Ironicaly Harry Potter and Philoshopher's Stone was released in first Indian language(Hindi)on 14th of November only.
A visit by JKR herself will be a big boost to promotion of HP in India in languages other then English also.

Well, if she's going to be visiting India, I reckon it'd be almost mandatory to visit the other states too rather than -just- Kerala. Sure, it's very beautiful, but there are lots of fans all over India. So, perhaps a visit to all the major cities is in order.

Ithink that it is great that there is Harry potter in India because the kids there need a little modavation and something for them to read and these books are great.
